Dec 17, 2022 - Holiday PJ Party Fundraiser
Guests wore their coziest PJs and fuzziest socks to celebrate the holiday season and fundraise for the Capital Bachata Festival!
This fundraising event was held at LabO Theatre and featured workshops by Talek Cameron and Ritmo Baile Dance School and had two social dance rooms, DJ'd by Ottawa favourites DJ Squared and DJ DVO! Guests were able to indulge in holiday treats at our bake sale, and were treated to complimentary coffee and tea provided by Bridgehead Coffee Co!
Nov 12, 2022 - Hollywood Glamour Fundraiser
Take out your bowties, shine your shoes and slip on your velvet gloves!
It's Hollywood Glam Night on November 12th, presented by Capital Region Bachata!
This fundraising event for the Capital Bachata Festival featured workshops by Bloom Dance Company and from Talek Cameron/Barbara Bondariuk, performances by Bloom Dance Company, Isabelle Adoue and Maryse & Jacques, prizes from Elevate Yoga, Latinos RestoBar and the Montreal Bachata Festival!
Summer 2022
CBF Presents: Bachata on the Hill
In summer 2023, the Capital Region Bachata team partnered with local dance school, Ritmo Baile to offer free Bachata workshops and social dancing on Parliament Hill every other Sunday! What better backdrop to celebrate our favourite dance in the Nation's Capital! Keep an eye out for re-occuring events like this in summer 2024!
